New Zealand are confident of making their first FIFA World Cup since 1982 a memorable one by causing a few upsets in Group F starting with a game against Slovakia on Tuesday.The All Whites have had an excellent qualifying campaign and have also had a good outing in the friendlies before the world cup. New Zealand beat Serbia 1-0, but lost to Australia and Slovenia in the lead up to the world cup. However coach Ricki Herbert is confident his team will do well in South Africa and has warned his rivals to underestimate them at their own peril.
Meanwhile Slovakia are in the tournament for the first time after a superb qualifying campaign that saw them top their group. Slovakia coach Vladimir Weiss has decided to include three injured players in his squad in the form of Martin Skrtel, Filip Holosko and Robert Vittek.
